Sunday .Woke up at 4.15 a.m The reason.Lalbaugcha Raja.The famous Ganesha .Beautiful big.I had only seen him in photographs.At times said should go but never got around it. This time Alka maushi propelled it.She had asked for something and had to go. So she did .On Thursday. I could not ( had work,was leaving for Delhi) though I had said I would like to come.Then Niki (always Niki) moved everything to get me there. I just wanted to see him .And thank him.And vineet –nikis husband .He came with the car .he is too too sweet. Both of them are like pillars.

So early morning. The crowd was unbelievable .The line was endless .lots of people .It hardly seemed like it was this early in the morning.5.00 a.m.

So thru the rain ,barefoot and niki defiantly walking ahead we went. Long walk and then into the crowd. Pushing squeezed but it all felt worth it as we neared and I saw him.Humungous,huge . was pushed to the stage .

And in that madness as I looked up to see his face .Right there next to the idol on top was a boy who attends the video assist at our shoot.He was up there calmly tending to the God and I was here struggling to get to the feet of ganesha. I waved at him asking him how how was. He waved back smiling .
And to me it strengthened the meaning of in Gods kingdom there is no big small , senior junior .Its all the same .It gave me a deep sense of understanding what I actually believe in right then and there.Felt good.

Saw different kinds of people . Some suffering . some just happy. I thanked him again for every everything. Felt a tremendous beautiful sense of being blessed as I lowered my head on his big toe and held from being shoved away for that moment.It was lovely.

Then of course had to go out to matunga and have filter coffee .To have filter coffee before sunrise .Its bliss. Went to ram ashray. Yummy. Podi chutney,wet chutney,hot sambar ,upma, idli and filter coffee.

I have learnt this new trick now .how not to miss writing on the blog.I have to type a word document and just copy and paste.Dont need to wait for net connection to open etc .Usually that gets to me then I procrastinate.

Saw Dhamaal . aashish is in it ( samitas husband) Very funny film. And he is very good .I am so so happy for him.The films doing really really well.
Today a friend of mine has a serial going up on TV . God bless him and I pray it does well. He has worked hard towards his goal .He deserves it. He called me for the premier show.was touched .sweet of him.
