well havent been writing .there is so much work its not funny. waiting to see some work now so have a breather.
Highlite of the week .GANPATI. Festival we all look forward to at home.
We have the celbration for one and half days.
70 year old tradition. Previously we had an immersing ganpu but after indumama passed away everyone in the house decided lets stop it cause we wont be able to the rituals fully.That time me niki and priya and sami decided we will not do the immersing ganpu but will do the cermony with our house ganpu and do everythingwe used to do.It keeps the tradition alive .and it brings the entire family together. Wee have tons of fun.
There are specific 6 dishes that we cook.On day one and day two respectively .And i am the official chef for the entire family for the last ten years or so.Its truly beautiful and wholesome the whole feeling.
And not forget the raag malkauns of bismillah khan that has has has to be played when the ganpu murthy is put on his throne.
One time we could not find the tape (was misplaced) so i remember we made sound with our mouths and my grand aunt played the harmonium .We are mad!!!

But i love our madness .each one of us is crazily happy and funny and mad.

So i love the atmosphere of ganpati.The smell of the flowers ,the aarti frenzy.My dad is used to do the jive on one particular aarti -ghalin lotangan vandeen charan-it is a total upbeat truly energetic aarti.and my dad would do the jive and my mom would scold. its such fun.He dint jive this year but he did do a little twist.

Ganpati heard me out this year.Had prayed hard for something not to happen in the two days taht he was there.it dint happen .happened only after the celebration.Thank you.

i feel all festivals should be celebrated.It really makes you feel good . Makes you feel wonderful inside. There is a certain colourful joy that allows you be happy and full of life.
The children of course enjoyed.Mallika was a darling. Have told her she will be the one taking over the kitchen from me so next year she is going to be trained .

simpu stopped his journal :-( . dunno why.hope he starts again.

i am looking forward to reading my blog memoires years later .its like opening an old album of phographs and giggling.

brijesh and siddesh joined my team today. very happy. both solid guys.
