kaan mein bol

hey there bloggy

went for the kaan radio awards judging yesterday.
mat so many people who i ahvent met for a long time.all of them in one room together .there was a nice vibe in the air. kind of a social bonding session.

so it was a loooooong day. technology of course gave way to nice conventional paper judging .its the best i think .....yet.
some fantastically crafted spots.

most people ignore crafting and sound design in radio.its the one thing that makes optimum use of the medium.most times you have linear flat commentaries and dialogues.no texture .no craft.

except for some of the spots Prasoon joshi had done himself ..they are to me a lesson on how to craft radio.the dialogues.the depth of field of voices. the texture of the voices. its fantastic.

the other thing i really felt overwhelmed by is that he himself has gone and recorded.that to me is passion .at his level of ncd and chairman.it genuinely fills the heart with joy and shows you a path.

he is the same guy who has won two filmfare awards .is a recognised name in bollywood and still. and of course he has written "tijhe sab kuch pata hain na ma" Its like someone sang my blog.

went to moms after that .couple of drinks.back home crashed . was starngely very tired.I think 12hours couped up in a room .

the goa photos transporting did nt work .will try again today. later after i have transported more pictures from the digi cam on to the mac.sometimes i feel the mac is mac mohan bloody!

saw a denzil washington movie on sunday nite.out of time
gosh ! he is so damn yummy. he is one guy I wouldnt mind even when he is 90 i think
he is tooooooooohhhhhh hot.

so thats all for my tongue out tales.before i get embarassingly drooly
getting on to treadmill now.. worked out in goa too. can you imagine. worked more there then i do here,
